Yes, I agree...and did you know that I almost passed by it? Then I looked and thought, yeah, gots to get a picture of this...like what you said about the noble flower :-)
This is a very different and beautiful perspective. People'd normally just go up close to the purple flower and forget the rest. But I like the way the dim, unfocused specks of light reflected from the edges of the leaves on the water just plays up the sharpness and brilliance of the flower. Lovely!

The color of the lotus is lovely. The wrinkles of petals show that they are still on the process of spreading. I feel a move of the flower.
The reflection of water or dew drops are like diamonds offered to the noble flower!
